everyone's come down with a cold
it's not every day you sit at an outdoor bar with umbrellas and raincoats
brunella gets serenaded
by campo dei fiori's very own hunchback mandolin player. an enthusiastic one, too.
did i mention it rained all night?
not the perfect night to walk around town til dawn with free access to all Rome has to offer - especially if there are queues everywhere
Notte Bianca - sound and emotion
we ducked into this church to get away from the deluge of biblical proportions. and got bombarded with ungodly reverberations meant to evoke 10 different emotions.
we felt trapped. and wet.
we felt trapped. and wet.
Rome's Notte Bianca - White Night
where the entire city stays open all night and entrance to galleries, exhibitions, music concerts and dance performances is free - unless they all get cancelled by non-stop thunderstorms
claire in paparazzi mode
she's been stuck in lisbon for 2 days on her way back home to dakar - hope she's made it by now
yet another mystifying italian ad
what on earth could this be for? a clothing line? lubricant? knee-pads?

`what do you EAT?'
steve and i have both had doctor run-ins this weekend.
steve's had the above to say when she got his blood tests back.
mine: you're not THAT young anymore, you should think about getting married and starting to pop out those kids

this ad campaign has everyone up in arms
some posters have been strategically pelted with mud. and possibly tomatoes.
La Soares + panna cotta
claire back in town after a year and half. it's like she never left. although maybe she didn't recall how wobbly that panna cotta can get
not sure why these two killed me
tried to get them from the front but they were hoofing it a little too intensely in their mix-and-matchiness
global warming spreads
after the deluge. this at about 3 pm. it's been raining nonstop for what seems like weeks.
